Online Routine Tank Inspection

SRG Global Asset Care executed a full on-line above ground steel (water) storage tank inspection to support GWW’s asset integrity strategy. The inspection supported the objective of not removing the tank from service, as it was not possible to do so without major disruption. The inspection was requested steel water tank floor scanning services to Melbourne Water assets for 15+ years.
Our floor scanning services continue to be provided to Melbourne Water via Programmed Maintenance Services under their asset maintenance contract to Melbourne Water.
Other services include visual inspections of in-service tanks using our range of submersible ROV’s proving the asset owner tank condition assessments prior to taking tanks out of services enabling preplanning of required remediation works.
Asset care provides both MFL and SLOFEC scanning for coated and non-coated tank internals
